Over the years, Monument Valley has been the setting for more Western movies than any other site in the United States. Unique sandstone formations, the Navajo Indian Nation and the Four Corners Monument define this vast, open desert region.

Mr. Lucotch taught 7th grade Social Studies at Lewistown Junior High. He finished his 38th year of teaching. In addition to graduation from the University of Montana, he has also completed the National Geographic Teacher Training Program. Mr. Lucotch has extensively been trained by the Globe Program which is a national environment program sponsored by NASA.He also currently just finished two courses on teaching American History, "A history of U.S." In 2010 he accompanied seventh and eighth grade students on a trip to New York and Washington D.C.
